From 1994 till 1998, Duane Tompkins was given more duties to fulfill. He was now more than just a Police Officer – he was also a Community Police and School Resource Officer. He began working closely with educators and counselors which enabled him to assist them in creating presentations that deals with “quality life issues” for their students. Patrick McEachen is a defenseman who comes from Stouffville, Ontario. He had originally committed to play hockey at the University of Maine, but later changed his mind and accepted an offer to play at Clarkson University located in Potsdam, New York. The reason why he de-committed to Maine was because the University intended to have his enrollment delayed for one full year so that he could play in the USHL. Although Patrick McEachen was opened to the idea, his main goal was to start university as soon as possible.

Patrick McEachen somewhat felt bad about the situation, but he currently holds no grudges against the aforementioned university. He just did not want to delay his college life because he was already in his last year of high school and wanted to start his university education right after high school graduation.

Georgetown’s most famous landmark is actually the Eastern and Oriental Hotel or the E and O. According to Conrad Seghers, these landmarks must not be missed since the hotel is set up on the waterfront. Apart from its wonderful view, it also has a very interesting history.

Conrad Seghers did some research on his own and he learned that E and O was actually built during 1855 by the Sarkie brothers of Singapore, specifically in Raffles, and also from Rangoon or Strand. The hotel premises had some gardens where their visitors could have some tea. Conrad Seghers tried the gardens and he felt like he stepped into a Somerset Maugham story.

After exploring the hotel, Conrad Seghers decided to explore more of the Penang Island. He took a funicular railway up Penang Hill to experience the breathtaking view. Aside from the view, there was also a mini cafe, inn and Hindu temple atop the hill so that the visitors could take a break and rest when they feel too tired or overwhelmed by the view.

Bruce Caruth started his successful path in the Army. He started out as a simple Army soldier who displayed dedication and commitment to Army work, which later got him the opportunity to attend Officer Candidate School. Furthermore, Mr Caruth was only nineteen years old when he got promoted to Second Lieutenant and only twenty-one when he was chosen to be Captain.

Bruce Caruth left the Army once he finally finished his duty in Vietnam, which was around 1978.
