For a high yield real estate project we have been seeking for a loan. We found a ex banker in Germany which claimed to get for us that loan. We had to pay upfront fees of USD 800.000.—. Following we got a lot of promises and adventureous explainations why the loan would be paid out with delay. But neither the loan was paid out nor our money paid back. After a period of one year we lost patience and took legal action against this banker in order to have paid back our USD 800k. After two years we had spent another USD 120.000.-to get a judgement.
