Having a grandfather who worked as a project manager for international telecommunications companies proved to be a boon for young Jason Fieldhouse. Because of his granddad whose job required him to travel around the world and his mother’s busy schedule, he has acquired the opportunities to spend much of his childhood in different locations around the globe.

Jason Fieldhouse visited some of the world’s greatest historical sites. Among them are the ancient pyramids of Egypt, the monumental structures that are clouted in extensive history, and the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, the greatest mausoleum in the world which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Jason Fieldhouse also had the luxury of soaking up in the cultures of the cities of Peru and Thailand and the chance to enjoy the safari of Kenya. And for a time, he was deeply immersed in the unique culture and tradition of the so-called Smiling People of Sri Lanka. He lived in Colombo, Sri Lanka for one year with his grandparents.
