The Education of Doug Colt
Attorney Doug Colt is a respected intellectual property, commercial litigation, and employment lawyer in California. He received his Economics and Political Science degree with honors at Washington University in St. Louis before he finished law at Georgetown University Law Center, where Doug Colt graduated cum laude in 2000.
At Washington University, Doug Colt was a consistent member of the Dean’s List and was elected Senator of the Year. He later won the Todd Lewis Friedman prize for Best Graduate in Political Science. Doug Colt was also kept busy as Campus Programming Council Chairman and as a campus youth volunteer. At Georgetown U, he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and graduated in the top 10% of his class.
