CashCall is a consumer lending company

Filed under: CashCall — Wrote by admin on Friday, January 18th, 2008 @ 8:17 pm

CashCallCashCall, Inc. is a consumer lending company that is revolutionizing the lending industry with its fully automated online lending program. Its state-of-the-art technology allows CashCall to wire loan proceeds directly into a customer’s bank account within hours of applying for a loan. Established in July 2003, CashCall is based in Fountain Valley, Calif. The privately held company offers loans to consumers in more than 46 states and its loan portfolio consists of approximately 119,000 loans for $435 million. With CashCall it is now possible to borrow thousands of dollars for any purpose-in as little as thirty minutes-via the internet. CashCall, a new online lending institution, makes it easy to apply for unsecured personal loans up to $10,000 and have the funds directly deposited into a checking account, in most cases, in under an hour.

In developing and launching CashCall, the executive team sought out a technology partner with superior experience in system engineering, application integration, process automation, and business consulting to build a revolutionary solution for online lending. “The people at Cogility Software earned my trust quickly by showing me how their solutions would work together smoothly without a lot of on-going, complicated application development,” commented Paul Reddam, Founder and CEO of CashCall. Paul Reddam was willing to invest on a next-generation application integration solution that connects applications, databases and workflows, while at the same time reducing maintenance and support costs as loan volumes improve.

To maximize use of available intelligence and discover even more advanced methods of underwriting, finding, and servicing a loan, CashCall needed an integration strategy poised to accommodate future changes and enhancements. “To keep ahead of the competition and grow as fast as consumer lets us, means eliminating the custom, one-off solutions we become, accustomed to in years past,” stated Paul Reddam.

Nancy C. DiPietro helps nurses

Filed under: Nancy С. DiPietro — Wrote by admin on Thursday, January 17th, 2008 @ 8:30 pm

Nancy C. DiPietro created Give an Hour, a campaign that calls upon the more than 268,000 registered nurses across Canada to support HIV/AIDS- affected nurses in Africa. Since launching the campaign, Nancy C. DiPietro has received tremendous support from nursing colleagues and organizations. Surrounded by 200 of her peers at the international nurses’ forum on the HIV/AIDS crisis, Nancy DiPietro was stunned to learn that not only were women and children suffering from the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS, but also many of the nurses treating HIV/AIDS patients were infected themselves.
“As nurses in Canada, we have so many resources,” says Nancy DiPietro. “We work in safe buildings with well-trained staff. We have good benefits, including universal health care. We have opportunities to grow and learn….We can relate to nurses in other countries on so many levels. African nurses are women, they arNancy C. DiPietroe mothers and some of them are ill. I know if I were sick, it would mean so much to me to have the right supports available,” added Nancy DiPietro.
Working within what Nancy DiPietro describes as a “strong team of committed and generous women” has enabled her to find the time to organize her Give an Hour campaign amongst all of her other daily duties. Nancy DiPietro hopes to lead the way for other nurses to give to their African counterparts in order to ease their suffering.
Nancy DiPietro’s career experiences as a nurse gave DiPietro the knowledge and skills necessary to create this meaningful national campaign. Building on work in an intensive care unit, operating room, post-anesthetic care unit and women’s health, Nancy C. DiPietro joined the McMaster University Medical Centre team in 1993 and became a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) in 1997. Nancy C. DiPietro worked with survivors of sexual assault and collected forensic information.
Nancy DiPietro is all too familiar with the effects that diseases have on patients - socially, physically and emotionally. “Many of the clients I see are vulnerable,” says Nancy DiPietro. “They have been in positions where they have had no control over what happens to them or their bodies. Survival becomes their primary focus, and they do what they have to do to get by. I believe that it is the same for African women and nurses dealing with HIV/AIDS on a daily basis,” added Nancy DiPietro.
Nancy C. DiPietro shares, “It is my hope that every nurse who can donate, does pledge the equivalent of one hour of pay each year to help nurses in Africa infected with HIV/AIDS.”
“Nursing is caring. Knowing that when someone is going through one of the most difficult times of their lives, you are helping to make it more manageable for them. That is the reward of nursing - being part of that moment,” believes Nancy C. DiPietro.

Transition America about military program

Filed under: Transition America — Wrote by admin on Thursday, January 17th, 2008 @ 6:48 pm

At Transition America the fastest growing divisions, since Transition America are an approved contractor of the government/military, is to equip our men and woman that are leaving the military with the proper tools and support to make their transition into civilian life as smooth as possible. Without Transition America’s help, you will end up leaving money on the table during negotiations, and will spend more time unemployed wondering why you can’t get hired with all the skill sets you took from the military.
Transition America: “Each of the military services now operates transition seminars known to many as TAP classes, or outplacement seminars, which is a great start in the right direction, but may not offer “insider information” on how to negotiate a better salary, or where to find the hidden job market.”
Transition America: “Plus if you’ve already transitioned, you may not be eligible to attend these classes as a refresher as you are about to hit the job market again: so where do you turn?”“Of course there are a myriad of books and articles that attempt to give you some insight on different aspects of the job hunt, but there is so much to cover and there are many different viewpoints, it can be confusing to some,” – added Transition America.

TRANSITION AMERICA:

Also Transition America notices that landing a great job is not just about getting an offer and earning a paycheck. Loving your job is about finding the right company culture for you, according to Transition America, the Nation’s Premier Career Search Specialist. It’s about working in an environment aligned with your values and beliefs. Working at a company with values inconsistent with yours is stressful and unrewarding. As Transition America said: ‘The quality of your work life is also directly correlated to your supervisor’s attitudes, values, and beliefs. A person’s values significantly affect their behavior and hence how you are treated. No matter how great the position, if you’re working in a caustic, understaffed, and unethical culture, you’ll feel unfulfilled.”

According to Transition America you have to plan effectively for the week ahead. To do that you should answer the Transition America’s question: “What’s next in my search?”Transition America explained: “Because … you get just 24 hours each day. After eating, sleeping, etc., you have about 14 hours to spend looking for work. You’ll never get those hours back. Make the most of them! It’s been said that every hour of planning saves five hours of doing. So start spending an hour every week scheduling what’s next in your job search.“

And back to Transition America’s discussion : ‘ Each military installation offers or participates in an outplacement program that is usually offered near the end of your military career. Perhaps, a little too near the end, as most of us would like to know where our next paycheck will be coming from well before we hang up the uniform. “
