James Fontanetta told:”Rabbits seem to be the favorite victims of cosmetic companies. There have been many documented instances of rabbits left with oozing eye infections left untreated. They slowly become blind often without adequate food and water and in unsanitary conditions. They are left in tiny cages where they often break their own neck trying to escape.”

Unfortunately, many other companies still use the outdated practice when there is no need for it.”Also James Fontanetta noticed that another source of massive animal abuse which many people are not aware of are puppy mills.
“There is no need to buy a puppy or dog from a breeder or pet store, there are thousands of loving animals waiting for a home in shelters”, said James Fontanetta.
James Fontanetta told:”Puppies come from puppy mills where they are living with little or no water or only filthy water. The dogs have inadequate protection from the heat and cold; they live in filthy cages and urine-soaked trailers. They are crowded into undersized cages. Puppies suffering from health problems go untreated and are sold to the unsuspecting public. They are treated like merchandise or inventory, not as living breathing creatures.”
James Fontanetta also works with local groups to end abuse and cruelty by educating citizens on spaying and neutering. “One of the best ways to prevent cruelty is to spay or neuter your pet. This will help cut down on the massive overpopulation problem that this country faces. Every year hundreds of thousands of healthy loving pets are euthanized because there is simply no place for them. I try to save as many as I can, but everyone needs to contribute as it is overwhelming,”- said James Fontanetta.
